Our Papers.

We take on the challenge of developing high-performance alternatives to conventional wood-based papers – using fast-growing, plant-based raw materials. With innovation and responsibility, we are shaping the transition toward alternative material solutions.
Global demand for paper continues to rise, while the availability of wood fibers declines. At the same time, the need for environmentally friendly packaging is growing. Traditional pulp production consumes enormous amounts of water and energy and places a heavy burden on the environment.
Our answer is paper made from alternative plant fibers. These fibers grow quickly and enable the production of sustainable paper that meets increasing ecological demands – without compromising on quality. We see ourselves as a key to a more environmentally friendly paper industry.
Plant fibers offer advantages over conventional materials. Thanks to their regional origin, they cause only minimal CO₂ emissions due to short transport routes. Since the fibers are obtained from renewable raw materials, no deforestation is necessary, which helps preserve forests. Additionally, the paper is fully compatible with the existing paper recycling system, enabling a seamless circular economy – without requiring additional cultivation areas.

With our Silphium fibers, we have already proven what innovative paper production can achieve. Building on this expertise, we are expanding our portfolio to include fibers from paludi biomass and straw.
All our raw materials are grown and processed in Germany. This protects valuable ecosystems, offers an important alternative to deforestation, and ensures a lower ecological footprint. The result is high-quality virgin fibers that demonstrate how regional value creation and climate protection can be perfectly combined.
We offer papers and boards made from plant fibers in a basis weight range starting at 60 g/m². Our paper grades – Paper, Liner, and Board – set new standards for packaging. The focus is on packaging applications in both food and non-food sectors, as well as special graphic applications. Our grades are machine-smooth, surface-treated, and feature excellent printability in all common printing processes (offset, flexo, screen, and digital printing).
We offer various product lines with our alternative plant fibers. The fiber content in the paper varies depending on the application. The fibers are combined with FSC®-certified pulp or recycled paper.
Our research and development work continues: Straw paper and papers made from paludi biomass are in the pipeline and will soon expand our portfolio with further innovative ecological papers and applications.
Straw is one of the least utilized “waste” products from agriculture. Straw fibers are an excellent pulp alternative with properties comparable to virgin wood fiber, offering very good printability and improved strength.
Papers made from paludi biomass combine climate protection with innovation. By using biomass from rewetted peatlands, an eco-friendly paper is created that actively contributes to the preservation of vital ecosystems.
